Develop new material or work from your first draft... either way, I can help you create professional material to lift your message above the ordinary. I offer three levels of copywriting:
1. Proofing –
a review of your existing content, focused primarily on grammar
and structure to avoid those common errors you often see in print. Proofing is the least time consuming,
and may include recommendations for the order of presentation
and logical flow. It’s the final review you need before
hitting the “send” key.
2. Sharp Editing involves fully understanding your existing content and the message you want to present. The focus of good editing is to quickly convey your message so the reader takes
action. You provide the proposed text and I will recommend content, layout and structure changes to meet with your approval. Use this service over time and your writing will rapidly improve, saving you money in the long run.
3. Copywriting I will create your message for you, including two rounds of revisions until it is final. We begin by discussing your business, the target audience, the purpose of the writing project, results you want to experience, and layout constraints. When you need it done professionally and can’t devote your own time to the task, I’ll do it for you at a price far lower than ad agencies or PR firms.
Fees
I quote by the project or by the piece.
Hourly rates apply to incremental work, or supplemental requests.
Hourly rate: $125
Revisions: All quotes include two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions will be billed at the hourly rate.
Services agreement: May be required depending on the size of the project. New jobs require a 50% deposit prior to start.
Rush Fees: A rush fee of 25% of total project cost may be applied for jobs with deadlines of 48 hours or less, and 50% for jobs assigned on Friday and due by Monday.
Kill Fee: Please understand that writing is a service, not a product. If a project is killed during or after the copywriting stage, the writer is entitled to full payment for all hours invested up to that point.
